The "Pai Kim Zung" is an indigenous widespread bamboo and is considered as the best growing, tallest, strongest, and highly durable, and is utilized mostly for structural use, Bamboo chips and pulp. 

The "Pai Kim Zung" Bamboo has rapidly to become the most commonly developed commodity pulp lumber in higher rainfall areas throughout the world. This due to its many favorable characteristics and especially its fast growth rate of 1 ˝ feet to 3 feet a day. The timber from this unique bamboo specie has a wide range of uses, and it is considered of the world’s top quality pulping species due to its high fibre yields. 


This bamboo has naturally increased its growth by up to 8 times (Hexaploid), resulting in a density of 5 times greater than any other species of bamboo. It can be cultivated in all types of soil where there is sufficient water availability or where climatic conditions such as in the equatorial regions offer a natural environment for cultivation.
